Welcome to our site! I'm Rena Herbison and I'd like to introduce you to a group of products that came out of an answer to a prayer during the time our family was going through the devastating loss of our son, Jason. Read The Brick Cross Story
Jason graduated May, 1999 from Mississippi Delta Community College with an
associate degree in nursing. Jackie, my husband, and I are also graduates of Mississippi Delta Community College. We are both registered nurses and have been in the medical field for many years. We were proud and surprised that Jason would choose to follow in our careers.
In August of 1999 shortly after Jason’s death the Lord used a simple image of a cross in the brick of our house to answer a prayer that I needed just to find peace and hope in the midst of our deepest sorrow. We had so many questions concerning our son’s passing.
Over the 11 years since Jason passed we have been able to share our story with many others who were going through difficult times or the loss of a loved one.
After all these years I felt a strong leading to use this blessing to benefit others taking the brick cross image, and sharing what it means to us. We decided to use the cross image on greeting cards that can be used for encouragement or for sympathy cards. We also have the brick cross image on bookmarks, and on easily shared small cards that are the size of a business card.
Our aim is to share this story with as many people as possible to remind others that God always wants to help, encourage and strenghthen us in the times where we may see very little light or hope. We also want to share how God can take such a tragedy and turn it into something positive. We want to share our blessings with others that they might be inspired to lean more of our loving Lord and believe that He will answer when we call upon Him.
If we can prevent just one person from experiencing the pain and sorrow we have endured, then our efforts will be worthwhile.
While giving people the opportunity to purchase our products, we will in turn, be able to help others by using the profits to benefit numerous charitable organizations.
